EaseMyTrip IPO

EaseMyTrip filed last August to go public, but a EaseMyTrip IPO has yet to be seen.  Those in the industry expected an initial public offering of the internet communication or telephony business early this year but that has been delayed.  Last October 2021 they hired a new CEO, and that seems to have delayed things.

EaseMyTrip IPO Size

Ebay had purchased EaseMyTrip nearly six years ago for billions of dollars.  They announced three years ago that it would spin off the company.  The EaseMyTrip IPO was expected by now, but it has recently been discovered, this week, that it will not happen until later this month.  The news of the IPO is not of public record but the information comes from sources who do know, according to the news.

It’s said by those close to EaseMyTrip that after hiring a CEO, it’s wise to allow sufficient time for that new CEO to become familiar with the company and understand the EaseMyTrip culture and also to wait for the macroeconomic culture to improve before making an IPO.

Last Fall 2010, They sold 65% of EaseMyTrip to private investors.  Owners of EaseMyTrip hope to raise $1 billion in cash once they go forward with the IPO.
