We Have Surveyed 1510 Indian Investors on their opinion about various Financial Instruments like Mutual funds and Share Market for Small Investors. Which one they prefer the most?
Specifically, we looked at how factors like Brokerage costs, minimum assets, investment portfolio and investing experience affects the lives of Indian retail investors.
With the help of ZohoSurvey, we uncovered some very interesting findings about the opinion of Indian investors on Mutual funds and Share Market.
And now it’s time to share what we discovered.
Here is a Summary of Our Key Findings:
We have reached to more than 1500 Indian Investors in India out of them around 100 have registered their opinion in this survey
As you can see in the below box , the survey results are quite clear that 92.47% Indian investors agree with first option. While 7.53% investors prefer the second option.
As per survey results, Mutual funds are great for small investors who do not have in depth knowledge of various shares in Stock market and lack needed experience to survive in the market.
So, it is better for small investors to gain necessary knowledge and experience before directly invest in Share market.

From the above graph, it is quite clear that Mutual funds are great for small investors who do not have much experience and expertise.
